Responsibility Beats Fault in Leadership
Those of you in leadership positions right now, please remember the advice in the above graphic, but also remember that "Fault" is not the same as "Responsibility." Fault is about blame, and it's pointless at this moment in time (if you're not in a high position of national governmental leadership). Responsibility means whatever caused it, whatever didn't go right, whatever happened, you will do your best to make sure it's taken care of. Make sure you take the time to teach your teams the difference between the two and set the example yourself.
Eliminate fault, take responsibility, give credit.
